  • Launch of circular economy solution

    As a founding member of the industry association RecyPac, Emmi has joined forces with partners to work towards a nationwide circular solution with the aim of standardising the collection and recycling of plastic packaging and beverage cartons across Switzerland. Standardised collection of this type of packaging, including Emmi branded products such as Aktifit and good day, was rolled out in several Swiss municipalities in January 2025.

    A significant milestone has thus been reached in the collective efforts to achieve a circular solution in Switzerland for these high-quality recyclable materials.

  • Successful completion of the Management Practice Programme

    16 participants successfully completed the Emmi Management Practice Programme for 2024. This programme aimed at employees working in middle management runs every two years. The international teams worked together in groups on practice-based projects relating to artificial intelligence over the course of ten months.

    They shared the results of their projects and reflected on their own learning journeys during the final presentations. This programme helps talented individuals at Emmi to develop and build their network within the Emmi Group.

  • Spring innovation – the latest Emmi moments of indulgence

    The Emmi Group launched numerous new products across all divisions once again this spring. Here’s a look at just some of the innovations:

    The new Emmi High Protein Water, a refreshing water-based drink with high-quality whey protein (whey isolate) and functional ingredients, hit the shelves in Switzerland. This innovative drink has reinforced Emmi’s positioning and presence within the growing protein segment – alongside the popular Emmi Energy Milk High Protein Drinks and our range of high-protein speciality desserts.

    In Spain, Kaiku has also been focusing on protein power with its new Banana & Peanut Butter Whey Drink. Laticínios Porto Alegre has picked up on the same trend in Brazil and expanded its popular yogurt range featuring just two ingredients – fresh milk and yeast – by adding high-quality protein as a third ingredient.

    In Chile, the new Quillayes Mixed Cheese Board offers a delicious cheese selection in a practical size. Cypress Grove also introduced a new cheese variety to the USA – goat cheese with olives and herbs.

    Swiss Milk Day on 12 April provided Emmi with the perfect opportunity to celebrate the goodness of dairy. Emmi has been creating the best dairy moments for over 100 years. There are not many foods that are as nutritionally dense and as versatile as milk. Emmi is committed to developing the superfood in line with changing consumer needs.   • “Be Ready” with Emmi Caffè Latte

    The iconic Emmi Caffè Latte brand launched its new advertising campaign with the slogan “Be Ready” in five European countries.

    The campaign invites consumers to start their day full of energy with Emmi Caffè Latte. The advert, which was created by the internationally successful director Miguel Campaña, dives into the morning routine and the boost of energy that comes from the first sip of Emmi Caffè Latte. The soundtrack for this moment of indulgence is the rock and roll classic “I’m Ready” by Fats Domino. The campaign was launched at the same time in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Spain and Belgium.

  • Emmi Sustainability Day 2025

    On 5 June, the World Environment Day, the Group celebrated the sixth Emmi Sustainability Day. Teams from across the Group came together to inspire one another, share experiences and celebrate their commitment and achievements in sustainability. Local activities brought sustainability to life in an engaging way. Together, the teams explored how Emmi can make a real difference through its sustainability efforts, innovation, partnerships and strong internal culture.

    One highlight was the award ceremony for Emmi’s internal sustainability competition. Over 31 projects had been submitted in advance. This year’s winning teams were:

    1st place: Quillayes Surlat (Chile) with their milk suppliers with animal welfare certification (Bienestar Animal).

    2nd place: Laticínios Porto Alegre (Brazil) with their project to measure and subsequently reduce greenhouse gas emissions in milk production.

    3rd place: Quillayes Surlat (Chile) with their successful programme relating to education and sustainable employability opportunities.

  • Emmi as an employer

    In July, Emmi launched the new Employer Value Proposition (EVP) campaign “We are Emmi. That’s what sets us apart.” The aim is to enhance visibility of our values and culture and to strengthen the employer brand. The campaign shows what makes Emmi special as an employer: team spirit, development opportunities and a sense of purpose.

    The campaign is part of our long-term talent strategy and has been rolled out through digital channels and the career platform. In this way we are strengthening Emmi’s visibility as an attractive employer and positioning ourselves well in competition for the most talented employees.

  • Emmi Caffè Latte Beach Tour 2025

    Emmi Caffè Latte was for the second time in a row the name sponsor of the Swiss beach volleyball series. Emmi Caffè Latte has been supporting Switzerland’s highest national tournament series for 6 years. As the main sponsor, Emmi was present in Basel, Zurich, Schaffhausen, Lucerne and Berne, once again sending out a strong signal with its brand presence.

    In addition to the beach tour, Emmi also supports the charismatic beach volleyball duo Hüberli/Kernen, who combine their many years of experience with a breath of fresh air and thus perfectly embody the values of Emmi Caffè Latte.

  • Emmi talents at SwissSkills 2025

    More than 1,100 young professionals competed against one another at SwissSkills 2025 in Berne. These included six young talented people from the Emmi Group. In the areas of dairy technology and IT, Lukas, Serena, Lisa Marie, Nicola, Karol and Noah demonstrated what modern vocational training is all about: expertise, passion and team spirit. We are extremely proud of their performance!

    Emmi systematically invests in dual vocational training, with 143 apprentices currently completing their training in 14 occupations. This is complemented by internal training days, induction programmes and targeted preparation for qualification procedures. This commitment enables us to strengthen our competitiveness and secure long-term know-how for the industry.

  • New products in the autumn: indulgence meets innovation

    Emmi brought several product innovations to Swiss dairy aisles in autumn 2025. With Emmi Caffè Latte Protein Coffee, available in macchiato, double zero and chocolate cappuccino varieties, we are committed to the trend towards functional indulgence: freshly brewed coffee combined with 26 g of high-quality protein – with no added sugar.

    There are also new products in the area of convenience and family indulgence: the mild-flavoured Emmi Luzerner Fondue and Emmi I’m your Meal Double Zero Strawberry Banana as a meal replacement drink to enjoy on the go. The range is complemented by the limited speciality Kaltbach Raclette Swiss Alpine Chili and the new Kaltbach Fondue Frisch Fix.

  • The English Cheesecake Company

    The Emmi Group acquired The English Cheesecake Company Ltd., a popular premium cheesecake brand in the British retail trade. The globally growing cheesecake trend product will strengthen Emmi’s innovative dessert portfolio and thereby its position as category captain.

    The English Cheesecake Company was founded as a family business in 2000 and has been producing high-quality cheesecakes based on traditional British recipes for over 25 years. The premium products delight retail as well as food service customers with their artisanal quality and on-trend flavours. The portfolio includes classic cheesecakes, vegan and frozen flavours, together with snack formats.

  • Awards for the Emmi Group

    2025 was a year full of recognition for the Emmi Group: numerous international accolades have commended our passion for specialty cheeses, our innovative strength, our commitment to sustainability and our excellence at the POS.

    We won 39 medals at the World Cheese Awards – including Super Gold for Kaltbach Le Gruyère AOP. Our innovation was recognised, for example, with the Snacking d’Or for Mademoiselle Desserts whereas, with the Meyenberg “Taste a Masterpiece” campaign, Commercial Excellence was recognised by the marketing agency AdAge as one of the top creative campaigns. Quillayes Surlat in Chile received the Emmi Sustainability Award for animal welfare and education projects, while Mademoiselle Desserts obtained B Corp recertification.

    These successes confirm that we are creating moments of indulgence and shaping the future of dairy.
